Weather permitting, a portion of Cecil Fain Drive in front of the Johnson Legacy Center will close to through traffic starting at 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6. A contractor will be installing a concrete walkway for the new Legacy Park. Efforts are being made to ensure work is completed as soon as possible.

Sidewalk repairs on Sutton Road is impacting traffic from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Jan. 23-26. Traffic control measures are in place from Old Big Cove Road to U.S. 431. The southbound turn lane from Sutton Road to U.S. 431 is also closed during work hours.
Motorists are advised to use caution and obey all traffic control signs and pavement markings.
Weather permitting, the intersection of Governors Drive and 12th Street will operate as a signalized intersection beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25.

All lanes of Madison Street from Southside Square to Gates Avenue will temporarily close from 4:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 16, to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22. Crews will perform utility work at the construction site of the new City Hall.
Southbound traffic will divert to Clinton Avenue, Church Street and onto Williams Avenue. Northbound traffic will move to Gates Avenue and onto Franklin Street. Circulation will be maintained around the Courthouse Square for business access as needed.

Darlington Road residents will not be affected by the closure. Sandusky Drive residents can loop around Darlington Road and onto Gaslight Way to reach their homes.
