The intersection of Seminole Drive and 9th Avenue near Lowe Mill will remain closed until Oct. 13 as workers install new drainpipe.

Weather permitting, the northbound lane of Monroe Street between Clinton Avenue and Williams Avenue will close to traffic from 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 9, through 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13. The intersection of Clinton Avenue and Monroe Street will also close from 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, through 6 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11. Crews will be performing utility improvements in the area.
Motorists should use Heart of Huntsville Drive as a detour.
Weather permitting, the southbound lane of Whitesburg Drive from Winthrop to Teakwood drives will close from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 3-5 for resurfacing preparation.
Motorists should use caution and take alternate routes to avoid the work area.
Weather permitting, Traffic Engineering will begin modifying the intersection of Hermitage Avenue and Tennessee Street to an all-way stop controlled intersection Monday, Sept. 18.
Drivers should use caution and obey all traffic control signs and markings in the area.
Weather permitting, one lane in each direction on Governors Drive at Seminole Drive will close for intersection improvements beginning Monday, Aug. 28, through Friday, Sept. 1.
Lane closures will last from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.
The intersection will have limited movement during closures. Traffic control will direct drivers traveling through the work area.
The intersection of White Street and White Circle remains closed for cross drain and concrete work.
The intersection is expected to reopen at noon Wednesday, Aug. 23.
Drivers should use alternate routes to avoid the construction area.
Weather permitting, temporary lane closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 15, and Wednesday, Aug. 16, on Governors Drive (U.S. 431) for litter cleanup.
Tuesday’s closure will impact the northbound lane closest to the median from Old Big Cove Road to California Street. Wednesday’s closure will impact the southbound lane closest to the median within the same stretch.
