Beginning October 16 at 9:00am, Huntsville Utilities Electric Operations will close the southbound, right-hand lane of Jordan Lane for repair and maintenance work.
The lane is expected to reopen at 3pm.
This will be a recurring closure the week of October 16.
Motorists are asked to avoid this area if possible.
Motorists traveling through this area are asked to do so with extreme caution as workers will be present.

Weather permitting, a new pedestrian crosswalk and Rapid Rectangular Flashing Beacons (RRFB) with pushbuttons will be installed and activated at the intersection of Old Monrovia Road and Perimeter Parkway on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at approximately 9:00 a.m. Drivers are advised to yield to pedestrians in the crosswalk.
Motorists, Bicyclists and Pedestrians are advised to use caution and obey all traffic control signs and pavement markings.

The Alabama Department of Transportation advises motorists that ALDOT bridge inspection crews will inspect four bridges over Pinhook Creek on Governors Drive (Alabama 53) just west of Memorial Parkway (U.S. 231) on the night of Thursday, Oct. 11.
Expect single-lane closures during the inspections, which will begin about 7 p.m. if traffic and weather conditions permit.

Weather permitting, October 9, 2018, City of Huntsville crews with be changing lane usage for eastbound traffic on Weatherly Road at the intersection of Bailey Cove Road. The right eastbound lane will be changed to a Right Lane Must Turn Right lane. The middle lane will be a thru lane only and the left lane will be for left turns only.

The Alabama Department of Transportation advises motorists that Reed Contracting will begin work tonight on a resurfacing and safety improvements project on U.S. 72/University Drive. Work will be done from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Sunday-Thursday nights.

The Alabama Department of Transportation advises motorists that the exit ramp from southbound South Memorial Parkway (U.S. 231/U.S. 431) to Clinton Avenue will be closed tonight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, for foundation drilling for a replacement sign structure.
Motorists will be able to use the Governor’s Drive exit, make a U-turn at Governor’s and travel back north on the access road to Clinton.
Huntsville Utilities Electric Operations will have a crew working along South Shawdee Road between Natures Ridge Way and South Village Square to perform electric line maintenance.
There will be no lane closures, but workers will be in very close proximity to the side of the road, so motorists are asked to please use caution in that area and be alert for workers and machinery.
The work will begin each morning at 8am and will end at approximately 2pm.

On Wednesday, September 12, at 8:30am, Huntsville Utilities Gas Operations will close Eastview Drive Between Lewter Drive and Chadrick Drive for gas line installation work.
The closure is expected to last until 4:00pm.
