Weather permitting, beginning 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, until 8:30 a.m. Thursday, April 15, a contractor will close Monroe Street from Clinton Avenue to the Von Braun Center entrance for utility work.
No through traffic will be permitted, though commercial properties will be accessible. Traffic control will be in place to detour traffic to Church Street and Heart of Huntsville Drive.
Weather permitting, beginning Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at approximately 9 a.m., City of Huntsville Traffic Engineering will modify the intersection of Belgrade Drive NW and Marshal Avenue NW to operate as an all-way stop-controlled intersection.
Motorists are advised to use caution and obey all traffic control signs and pavement markings.
Weather permitting, starting 6 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 2021, contractors will temporarily close Martin Road between Williams Circle and Old Jim Williams Road for road work associated with the ongoing Martin Road construction project. The contractor anticipates reopening the road no later than noon Sunday, March 14, 2021.
Contractors will perform work at the bridge crossing along Betts Spring Branch. Martin Road will remain open on each side of the work area for access to local residences and businesses.

Weather permitting, the existing two westbound left turn lanes will be reduced to a single westbound left turn lane at the intersection of Adventist Boulevard NW and Wynn Drive NW at approximately noon Friday, March 12, 2021.
Additionally, the operation of the existing west to south turn signal on Adventist Boulevard will be changed from a three-section style indication to a four-section style indication with a flashing yellow left turn arrow.

Weather permitting, beginning 9 a.m. Thursday, March 4, 2021, the City of Huntsville Traffic Engineering will modify the intersection of Sandy Springs Road NW and West View Drive NW to operate as an all-way stop-controlled intersection.
Motorists are advised to use caution and obey all traffic control signs and pavement markings.
Weather permitting, Jefferson Street between Clinton Avenue and Spring Street will close Saturday to accommodate construction of a new hotel. The temporary closure will span from 4 a.m. Saturday, February 20, to 5 p.m. Sunday, February 21.
Traffic control measures will be in place. Motorists are encouraged to use Monroe Street and Holmes and Clinton avenues as detours.
Weather permitting, traffic will switch to new lanes on Church Street and Pratt Avenue Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at approximately 10 a.m. Temporary lane shifts will occur during the next few days to accommodate the new roadway configuration. There will also be traffic control devices in place to help direct traffic.
Due to changes at this intersection, motorists are advised to use caution in the area.
Weather permitting, beginning Friday, Feb. 5 at approximately 1 p.m., City of Huntsville Traffic Engineering will install new traffic signals and will modify the following intersections to operate as “All-Way” Stop Controlled Intersections:
