Beginning Thursday, Oct. 28, the intersection of Governors Drive and 12th Street will transition from a signalized intersection to a side street stop-controlled intersection. The northbound approach on 12th Street will be right-turn only. Drivers will not be permitted to turn left onto Governors Drive from this direction.
Motorists are advised to use caution and obey all traffic control signs and pavement markings. A new traffic signal will be installed at a later date.
Weather permitting, the intersection of Maysville Road Southeast and Randolph Avenue Southeast will operate as an all-way stop-controlled intersection starting at 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 28. Motorists are advised to use caution and obey all traffic control signs and pavement markings.
The westbound lane of Dunlop Boulevard at the intersection of Wall Triana Highway will be closed Thursday, Oct. 21, and Friday, Oct. 22, for utility construction. Traffic control measures will be in place to assist motorists.
Drivers are highly encouraged to take alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
Weather permitting, Blue Spring Road will be closed between Winchester and Stringfield roads at Shawmont Drive between 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, and 7 a.m. Friday, Oct. 15. Crews will be performing sanitary sewer improvements in the area.
Motorists should take alternate routes to avoid congestion. Traffic control, road closure signage and detour signs will be in place to direct traffic around the work area.
Weather permitting, Bob Wallace Avenue will be closed to through traffic from the Memorial Parkway access road to the railroad track, beginning at 6 a.m. Friday, Oct. 8 until 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9.
Traffic will continue to be closed at the railroad crossing, though L&N Drive will remain open. The intersection of Bob Wallace and Merchants Way will be closed for a signal upgrade that will improve vehicle and pedestrian safety. Crews will also work on the tracks that cross [ more ]
Weather permitting, Bob Wallace Avenue will be closed to through traffic at the railroad crossing at L&N Drive beginning 7 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6. During the closure, crews will replace the railroad tracks across Bob Wallace and construct a sidewalk and ramp at the intersection of Bob Wallace and L&N Drive.

Weather permitting, the City of Huntsville will close approximately 200 feet of Church Street north of Pratt Avenue for drainage and road reconstruction starting at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4. The closure will be in place until 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15.
Simultaneously, the new intersection at Church Street/Hundley Drive and Pratt Avenue will open to traffic. There will be one lane in each direction for both streets with each having left and right turn lanes.

Weather permitting, three Greenbrier Parkway intersections will operate as signalized intersections starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5:
Greenbrier Parkway and Relate Way Northwest (Gate 1)
Greenbrier Parkway and Team One Way Northwest (Gate 2)
Greenbrier Parkway and Innovate Way Northwest (Gate 3)

Weather permitting, the northbound lanes of Church Street from Monroe Street to Williams Avenue will be closed beginning 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, for road resurfacing. Once the northbound lanes are complete, crews will close and resurface the southbound lanes.
Work is expected to last through 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17.
Traffic control measures will be in place. Drivers should use caution in the area.
Weather permitting, Barren Fork Boulevard between Turnstone Court and Cotton Bend Drive will temporarily close from 7 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29. Contractors will be installing utilities in the area. Traffic control will be in place to direct traffic at the site. Drivers should use caution in the area.
