Public Meeting for Downtown Bike/Pedestrian Plan
Published on July 31, 2017
Urban planners will host a public meeting on Aug. 2 to review implementation plans for bike and pedestrian improvements in the City’s core as recommended in the Downtown Master Plan Update.
Residents are invited to join us as we review the bike plan for Downtown, and discuss near-term projects, like the Spragins Connector (from the Veteran’s Memorial to Big Spring Park).
BIG Picture planners will review best practices and designs from other communities, show how they might be installed in Downtown Huntsville, and look at how these updated facilities would be used.
Hope to see you Wednesday, Aug. 2, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at UG White, 115 Clinton Avenue East, 35801.
