Sept. 6, 2023 update: The U.S. Marshals Service Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force apprehended Tye’ Deshun Stevens, 23, in Anniston, Alabama, this afternoon. Stevens will be brought back to Madison County and booked in the jail on the two capital murder warrants. The Huntsville Police Department would like to thank the public for its assistance in helping locate Stevens. No further information is available at this time. The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) has charged Damon Andrew Blinks, 28, of Greencastle, Indiana, with capital murder for the robbery and deadly shooting that happened in the 300 block of Quality Circle around 10:40 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 28.
