James Record Road/Martin Road closure
April 11, 2024The widening of James Record Road/Martin Road between Trademark Drive and Electronics Boulevard for bridge replacement over Bradford Creek is finally underway. The bridgework is part of Phase II of the Martin Road Improvement Project, which includes a 1.6-mile, five-lane roadway with 4-foot bike lanes and 5-foot sidewalks on each side of the bridge between Old Jim Williams Road and Laracy Drive. March 26, 2024The City of Huntsville’s municipal offices and Municipal Court will close Friday, March 29, in observance of Good Friday. City offices will reopen Monday, April 1, at 8 a.m. Because garbage collection occurs Monday-Thursday, there is no change to service. Huntsville Transit will operate a normal schedule on Friday for both Orbit fixed-route buses and Access paratransit services.
