U.S. Paralympics Cycling Coming to Huntsville in April to Kick Off 2021 Domestic Schedule

The Huntsville/Madison County community is excited to announce that U.S. Paralympics Cycling will visit the Rocket City next year, as it begins its national calendar in preparation for the Paralympic Games in Tokyo this coming summer. We will host one of four domestic cycling events, the U.S. Paralympics Cycling Open, the second opportunity for cyclists to qualify for Tokyo. Huntsville Police responded to a shooting on Poplar Ave. November 19th at approximately 9:15pm. Upon officers arrival a shooting victim was found inside the business at 708 Poplar Ave. The victim was transported to the hospital and later pronounced deceased. The victim has been identified as 18 yr old Deandre Denzel Arrington of Huntsville. Anyone with information about this shooting is encouraged to Huntsville Police at 256-427-7270.
