Man Arrested After Shots Fired on Fortson Lane

The Huntsville Police Department has charged 22 year old Jacquan Scott of Huntsville with 2 counts of Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling following a call on Fortson Lane.  He is currently being held in the Madison County Jail.

Officers responded to the 4200 block of Fortson Lane around 2:00 p.m. yesterday for reports of gunshots being heard in the area.  During the investigation it was discovered that 2 houses had been struck by bullets.  The investigation led officers to a home on Fortson Lane where they found empty bullet casings in the yard.  It appears Scott was in the yard and had an altercation with someone.  At some point during the altercation Scott fired multiple shots and 2 of those bullets struck houses.  No one was injured and the investigation is ongoing.
