Huntsville Police Investigating Shooting

The Huntsville Police Department is investigating a shooting that left three people with minor injuries.
Officers responded to the 3100 block of Joppa Circle shortly after 10:00 p.m. last night for reports of a large disturbance and shots fired. When they arrived they found three people, age 16, 19, and 20, with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to the legs. Officers recovered two guns from a car as well as marijuana and prescription narcotics. One of the guns had the serial number altered. Officers charged 18 year old Alezay Mitchell with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Altering a Firearm Identification, and Carrying a Pistol in a Vehicle without a License.
