Food Bank of North Alabama funding

During discussions on the budget, Council Member John Meredith introduced a budget amendment to provide $150,000 to the Food Bank of North Alabama (FBNA) for the organization’s building project, which Council unanimously supported.

The money was redistributed from the road resurfacing budget and constitutes a one-time award to FBNA.

The organization can seek future awards through the Special Appropriations application process.
