Community Wide – One Day – Pet Adoption Extravaganza
Published on August 25, 2016
Huntsville Animal Services is joining area pet rescue groups in sponsoring a community wide, one day, pet adoption event on Saturday, August 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Huntsville Jaycee Building in John Hunt Park, 2180 Jaycee Way.
Shelter pets will be available for a low adoption fee of $8 for cats and kittens, and $27 for dogs and puppies. This includes rabies and other vaccinations, spay or neuter surgery, license, and microchip for pet identification. Restrictions and adoption fees may apply on selected pets.
In addition to our loving and adoptable Shelter pets, we will have dogs, cats, puppies and kittens at varying prices from other animal rescue organizations in the local area to include A New Leash on Life, Friends of Rescue, Greater Huntsville Humane Society, SNAP and AFK pet rescue groups.
Huntsville Animal Services and our partner animal rescue groups need the community’s help to reduce the homeless pet population by adopting animals into devoted families. We’re working together to offer a quarterly adoption event in one location, the Huntsville Jaycee Community Building, to create a pet shopping extravaganza that is certain to help you find the perfect pet.
