City of Huntsville announces Good Friday closures

Because garbage collection occurs Monday-Thursday, there is no change to service.

Huntsville Transit will operate a normal schedule on Friday for both Orbit fixed-route buses and Access paratransit services.

Huntsville Parks & Recreation  facilities will be closed Friday but will operate on a normal schedule Saturday. Facilities will close Sunday, March 31, in observance of Easter.

Huntsville Animal Services will close Friday but will reopen Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Essential police and fire personnel will remain on duty throughout the holiday weekend.
