The Huntsville Historic Preservation Commission will host a public meeting to discuss an upcoming survey of Whitesburg Estates. The meeting will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, in the Huntsville City Council Chambers at City Hall.
Preservation consultant Dr. Caroline Swope will give a presentation about the history of the Whitesburg Estates, known for its unique ranch-style homes and architecture. She will also explain how the survey will require her to walk through the neighborhood taking photos.
For those who can’t attend, the meeting will be streamed live on HSV TV (Comcast 1088/16 and Wow 42) and on the City website , the BIG Picture Facebook page and the City’s Facebook page .
