Join Mayor Battle and Green Team at John Hunt Park for the annual Mayor’s Tree Planting Day on Saturday, Nov. 4. Tree planting will take place from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Hundreds of trees will be planted to expand the tree canopy this year!
We need your help to plant trees. No experience is needed. All ages are welcome. You can drop in any time between the two-hour event.
Seedling trees will be given out to take home to plant, while they last!
Volunteers will also be provided with free litter clean-up supplies, coffee, popcorn, and doughnuts.
Please park at 2315 Airport Road. Look for the signs directing everyone to the tree-planting event.
