Come enjoy a Winter Walk with us! Learn to identify scats and tracks found most often at Hays Nature Preserve with Madison County 4H Club.
An early 7am start will be the best chance to see the many animals that make the Preserve their home.
Choose the 9-10am time for a Stroller-Friendly trail. The last hike will begin at 10:30am.
In between hikes we will make feeders to help our feathered friends and warm up with coffee, cider and our famous hot chocolate.
Our resident spokes duck, “Quakers” will probably make an appearance too.
All ages are welcome. Hikes will begin and end at the Education Building. Comfortable shoes that can get dirty are recommended. and binoculars or cameras are suggested.
