Come celebrate Fall beauty and the changing of nature! With the leaves off the trees, you can see such a different and beautiful side of Hays Nature Preserve. We are throwing a festival just for Fall!
The whole family will have fun at this FREE event. Activities include Birding 101 hikes and pond study with Tennessee Valley Audubon Society , an instrument petting zoo brought to you by Huntsville Symphony Orchestra , fly fishing with Tennessee Valley Fly Fishers , and Alabama Lore storytelling with local author Wil Elrick. Plus there will be leaf press activity, fall crafts and, of course, leaf piles to enjoy! You can also stuff a Sasquatch Scarecrow with all those leaves!
The leaf press activity will be while supplies last.
