The City’s first cycle track is ready to open! Please join Mayor Tommy Battle and his urban development team for a ribbon cutting in downtown Huntsville to officially open the Spragins Street cycle track. The dedicated cycle lane, marked by curbs and wide green stripes, runs from the Huntsville Depot to Big Spring Park East. The cycle track is a pilot project that emanated from public requests for better and safer cycling routes through The BIG Picture master planning process. The Spragins route will help determine if cycle tracks could be used in other areas of the City.
