The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) charged a 16-year-old with capital murder after a shooting on Max Luther Drive at 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3. An HPD officer responded to Huntsville Hospital after three gunshot victims arrived for treatment. One of the victims died at the hospital. Another victim remains in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) responded to a domestic violence call in the 6200 block of Rime Village Drive just before 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24. The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) seeks the public’s help as it investigates a deadly weekend shooting. The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) has charged Alazia Na’Riya Latrice Harris, 20, of Montgomery with capital murder for a deadly shooting that happened in the 3200 block of Spool Lane around 5:50 a.m. on Saturday, July 20. HPD officers responded to the area for an unresponsive subject lying outside the residence with multiple gunshot wounds and identified her as Naji Wiggins, 21. A Huntsville man has been charged with drug trafficking following a weekend arrest. The North Alabama Drug Task Force (NADTF) executed a search warrant in the area of Jonathan Drive at 1 a.m. on Friday, July 26.
