Traffic Safety Checkpoints
October 13, 2016The Huntsville Police Department D.U.I. Task Force will be conducting Traffic Safety Checkpoints between Thursday and Saturday night. The Task Force utilizes data provided by the State that determines traffic accident hotspots across the city. There are 40 designated hotspots throughout Huntsville, and they will be conducting checkpoints at one or more of those locations. October 10, 2016The Huntsville Police Department is investigating a one-car accident that happened Saturday night in the 1400 block of Bob Wade Lane. Bryan Simpson, a 39 year old man from Harvest, died at the scene. Officers responded to the accident around 10:15 p.m. Saturday night. There was only one car involved and Mr. Simpson was the only occupant.
