One Person Arrested Following Tuesday Afternoon Shooting

Huntsville Police have charged 32 year old Brandie Nance of Huntsville with Assault First Degree following a shooting on Rutledge Drive. Officers responded to a call of a shooting shortly before 3:00 p.m. Tuesday in the 4700 block of Rutledge Drive. Huntsville Police Burglary Investigators uncovered a “Chop Shop” operation at a Huntsville custom car shop last week. Investigators began working a burglary to a storage unit at 10344 County Line Road last week in which a motorcycle was stolen. Huntsville Police are investigating a Tuesday night accident that claimed the life of 29 year old Justin Nall of New Market. The accident happened just before 6:00 p.m. on Homer Nance Road. Mr. Nall was walking south on Homer Nance Road when he was struck by an SUV that was also traveling south on Homer Nance Road. Mr. Nall died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
