HAVOC Parade – Road Closures May 1st
May 1, 2018The Huntsville Havoc Championship Parade will be tomorrow (May 1st) from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The parade will begin on Monroe St. in front of Propst Arena and circle Big Spring Park, travelling down Williams, turn left on Church St., left on Clinton Ave., then left onto Monroe and end where it started. Road closures will begin no later than 4:30 pm.

March 26, 2018Huntsville Police arrested 38 yr. old Brian Andre Simpson tonight regarding a 2017 shooting. He is charged with murder and assault 1st. The murder victim, 26 yr. old Ladarius Turner, was shot along with a second victim, Cordarryl Toney, on Brookmanor Dr. in Huntsville on May 31st, 2017. Walker was shot on January 26th this year at an apartment complex in the Rime Village area. Walker was in a crowd of people in a parking lot that night when shots were fired. March 22, 2018Huntsville Police Officer Curtis Mitchell has been booked into the Madison County Jail charged with DUI. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency served a warrant on Mitchell this morning stemming from a DUI incident this past weekend that is still under investigation. Officer Mitchell has been be placed on administrative duties with his badge and service weapon being taken, pending the outcome of the State’s investigation.
