Arrest – Norwood Dr Shooting

Huntsville Police have arrested 20 yr-old Marquise Grays for assault 2nd degree and are looking for another female suspect in a shooting that occurred just after 7pm on 04/27/20. Huntsville Police had approximately 18 employees tested for COVID-19 the past few weeks. All of those tested were quarantined and have since received a negative test result. Our manpower has not been negatively impacted by any of the previously quarantined employees. The City of Huntsville will enforce the Alabama Department of Public Health’s order announcing the closure of non-essential businesses, venues and athletic facilities through April 17. The City has consistently followed the Centers for Disease Control and Alabama Department of Public Health guidelines. The National Weather Service in Huntsville is forecasting storms this week, some possibly severe, and the Huntsville-Madison County Emergency Management Agency is recommending residents consider their plan for shelter.
