The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) has charged a Morgan County man with electronic solicitation of a child, transmitting obscene material to a child and traveling to meet a child for a sex act. Gregory Leo Roman, 63, was arrested by HPD Special Victims Unit (SVU) Investigators in Huntsville on Thursday, Oct. 21, for the listed charges. The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) has charged a 15-year-old with Murder after a shooting at 800 Monroe Street around 1 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 10. The juvenile suspect’s identity will not be released. 18-year-old Tyree Humphrey died at the hospital following the shooting. HPD Major Crimes Unit Investigators believe the suspect and victim were acquaintances and the shooting stemmed from a verbal altercation.
