September 26, 2022The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) has charged 59-year-old Shirley Ann Logan with murder following a domestic-related shooting on Sunday, Sept. 25. Officers responded to the 1500 block of Sparkman Drive shortly before 5:40 p.m. and found 45-year-old Anthony Wilson deceased. Investigators learned Logan and Wilson had an ongoing relationship and believe the shooting stemmed from a verbal altercation. Logan was booked in the Madison County Jail. August 17, 2022The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) seized substantial amounts of fentanyl and other narcotics in the Huntsville area during July. North Alabama Drug Task Force Agents (NADTF) seized 11.2 pounds on fentanyl, 31 pounds of methamphetamine, 7,000 pressed fentanyl pills, 2.4 pounds of cocaine, 200 MDMA tablets and 19 pounds of marijuana.
