December 27, 20221:20 p.m. update: All roads in Huntsville are open. Shaded portions of roads may have patches of ice, please continue to use caution. Caution is also advised on overpasses and areas of high elevation. 12 p.m. update: Cecil Ashburn is now open. Vehicles blocking lanes of travel have been moved to the Land Trust parking lot. December 21, 2022The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) has charged Alexus Burton, 21, and Jovonta Jones, 20, with murder following a shooting incident on Friday, Dec. 9. HPD officers responded to the 4200 block of Keith Street and found a man identified as Victor Goode, Jr., 23, dead in the roadway.
