City of Huntsville, City of Madison and Madison County will remain closed on Wednesday, Jan. 17
January 16, 2024Icy, hazardous road conditions and frigid cold temperatures will persist through Wednesday, prompting the City of Huntsville, City of Madison and Madison County government operations to remain closed on Jan. 17. This includes the Madison County Courthouse, City of Huntsville Municipal Court, and all government offices, services and facilities. January 11, 2024Thanks to a collaboration with Huntsville’s Green Team, the City approved a land lease agreement with a North Alabama nonprofit organization to accommodate the relocation of its greenhouse. The agreement with the Master Gardeners of North Alabama provides land for its greenhouse and a small storage facility next to the CASA Garden and Kiwanis soccer field off Bob Wallace Avenue.
