Single Dogs Seek Fur-ever Love: Huntsville Animal Services hosts Valentine’s Day lovefest

Huntsville Animal Services (HAS) is inviting the public to find love with a furry companion as part of a weeklong celebration, I (heart) HAS. Each day, an adoptable animal in need of a loving home will be featured on the HAS Facebook page with its own personal ad. About 50 residential streets within the city limits of Huntsville will see improvements this year as part of a $6.9 million resurfacing contract. The City Council on Thursday approved an agreement allowing Mayor Tommy Battle to enter into an agreement with SJ&L, the low bidder, as part of the 2022 Phase I Resurfacing Contract.
