Arts Huntsville celebrates arts community funding in State of the Arts program

Arts Huntsville, with support from the Pei Ling Charitable Trust, celebrated the arts by honoring the Huntsville Arts & Cultural Grant program recipients. Now in its 11th year, the 2023 Arts & Cultural Grant program presented grants to 21 regional arts organizations to support their community programming. City of Huntsville municipal offices will close Monday, Jan. 16, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This includes Animal Services, Parks & Recreation, Public Transit and Municipal Court. Residential curbside collection will be delayed by one day the week of Jan. 16-20. Residents should leave carts at the curb until they are collected. Essential police and fire personnel will remain on duty throughout the holiday.
