January 18, 2018Public Works is experiencing additional garbage collection delays this week due to the effects of bitter cold temperatures and patchy ice on some streets. Public Transit will resume normal schedules at 10 a.m. Handi-Ride will operate for dialysis transportation only. Garbage collection is operating on a holiday schedule this week and will experience further delays. Residents should place their trash cans curbside and leave them there until crews can pick them up. December 8, 2017Volleyball courts The City Council approved a contract with Chorba Construction to begin work on a new sand volleyball complex at John Hunt Park. The facility will include 12 courts, easing the load at the existing six courts at Brahan Spring Park, and a building that will include concessions, changing facilities and restrooms.
