Capital Murder Arrest

The Huntsville Police Department has charged Pierre Sims, 30, for capital murder. Sims is accused of killing Christopher Cole, 47.
Officers responded to an assault call in the 400 block of Governors Drive on Thursday April 22 nd and discovered Cole with serious injuries. Investigators discovered he was the victim of a robbery.
Cole was transported to Huntsville Hospital in critical condition where he died due to injuries sustained from blunt force trauma.
Officers responded to an unrelated call on April 28 th
involving Sims, and he was transported to the hospital to be evaluated for any injuries. He has been booked into the Madison County Jail without bond.
