Bank Robbery Suspect Arrest

The Huntsville Police Department has arrested twenty-six year old Maxwell W. Hayslip of Irondale, Alabama, who is a bank robbery suspect from Lexington Kentucky. HPD Officers were investigating a call at approximately 8:00 am this morning involving Hayslip sleeping in a vehicle at a parking lot at University Dr. and Paramount Dr. He was arrested for a drug possession charge at that time. During the process of the arrest officers discovered possible evidence of other crimes which prompted the contact with Lexington KY authorities. HPD Violent Crime Investigators began communicating with them and confirmed Hayslip was the offender in a bank robbery case in their jurisdiction. Hayslip is in the Madison County jail at this time waiting for extradition procedures to face charges in Lexington KY.
