Huntsville Police have charged Thomas Couch, 32 of Huntsville, following an overnight shooting.
Officers responded to a shooting call in the 2800 block of Fairbanks Street around 11:45 last night. One person was taken to the hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to the arm. His injuries were not life-threatening. Couch was in a neighboring apartment and refused to surrender to officers. Surroundings apartments were evacuated for safety concerns, and at approximately 2:30 a.m. Couch surrendered to officers.
