Expect traffic delays: Alabama A&M University homecoming
September 29, 2023The Huntsville Police Department is assisting Alabama A&M University’s Department of Public Safety with traffic control for the homecoming parade and football game on Saturday, Sept. 30. Drivers should expect delays on North Memorial Parkway, Winchester Road and Meridian Street near A&M’s campus throughout the day. Parking along Memorial Parkway is prohibited for these events. Please use caution if traveling in the area due to heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

September 20, 2023The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) is asking for the public’s help solving a suspected arson that occurred Tuesday, Sept. 12, at 6216 Rime Village. HPD and Huntsville Fire & Rescue responded to the area at approximately 2:45 p.m. and discovered one building engulfed in flames.
