The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) has charged 39-year-old Ronnie Cupps with murder after his wife was found deceased at a residence in the 2000 block of Boardman Street on Sunday, Oct. 30. HPD Officers were called to perform a welfare check around 4 p.m. and located Teresa Cupps, 52, deceased from an apparent injury believed to be caused by blunt force trauma. The Huntsville Police Department has charged Edwin Oliver Mayes, 34, with murder following a deadly incident in the 3700 block of Pulaski Pike on Wednesday, Oct 12. Major Crimes Unit Investigators believe a verbal dispute led up to the shooting death of 44-year-old Kyle David Mackey. The case remains under investigation, and no further information is available at this time.
