City of Huntsville mourns loss of Huntsville Fire & Rescue cadet
July 29, 2022The City of Huntsville is mourning the loss of Huntsville Fire & Rescue (HFR) cadet Bryant McGowan, 31, who died Thursday, July 28, at Huntsville Hospital. The deceased employee, who was training to become a firefighter, was hired by the City in March 2022. July 27, 2022The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) has charged Laccuina Braithwaite, 25, with capital murder following the death of her two-year-old daughter. Officers were called to an apartment in the 12000 block of Sugar Mill Circle for a welfare check shortly after 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27.
