Huntsville Police Department honors 12 fallen officers
October 15, 2021The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) hosted its annual Fallen Officer Memorial Service on Friday, Oct. 15, to recognize 12 of its officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their community. The event was held in honor of National Police Week, which was rescheduled to Oct. 13-17 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. October 8, 2021The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) has charged 23-year-old Michael Anthony McDade Jr. with Murder after a shooting call at 6620 Old Madison Pike around 4:30 a.m. on Friday, October 8. HEMSI transported two patients to the hospital following the shooting. 24-year-old Quentaveis Shaquan Fletcher was pronounced dead at the hospital. Officers responded to 3912 Talwell Drive on Wednesday, October 6, and discovered 32-year-old Jabarry Tylon Lavell Keller dead.
