Bring Home a Furry Friend for Valentine’s

Huntsville, AL – Huntsville Animal Services (HAS) is asking citizens to open their hearts and bring home a furry friend for Valentine’s Day. From now through Saturday, February 13, all adult dogs are available for adoption for only $10 to $35 each. Officers were called to the 4200 block of Chalet Circle for a shooting call just after 7 a.m. Thursday morning. Michael Donofrio, 56, has been identified as the victim. He was found in the roadway deceased when officers arrived from apparent gunshot wound(s). The official cause of death is still under investigation.
