Cyclists gear up for the 11th annual Mayor’s Bike Ride on Saturday, May 30

Mayor Tommy Battle and Healthy Huntsville invite the public to join them this Saturday, May 30, for a free, family-friendly four-mile bike ride around Downtown Huntsville. The 10 a.m. ride will begin and end on Church Street in Big Spring Park by the Downtown YMCA. The City of Huntsville’s Parks & Recreation Department released its updated policy allowing the phased re-opening of the City’s parks and recreational facilities. The new policy takes effect May 26, replacing the policy published on May 18. The revised policy allows for the opening of several facilities previously closed and allows certain activities banned under the current policy.
