Drug Take Back Results

This past weekend Huntsville Police participated in the DEA National Drug Take Back Event also with Partnership for Drug-Free Community. We would like to report we took in 480 lbs of prescription medication at our location. The Madison-Morgan County HIDTA Drug Task Force (STAC) has been busy wrapping up two very important narcotics cases the past several weeks that resulted in the arrest of Ismael Fuentes Sanchez, Oscar Alfredo Solano Roman and Celerino Sanchez Hernandez. These investigations have resulted in several arrests and seizure of both cash and illegal narcotics with a street value of over $200,000. Huntsville Animal Services is planning to celebrate Cinco de Mayo for 12 festive days this month by offering half-price adoptions on dogs, cats, puppies and kittens.
